Abstract
This book is a compilation of research about the history of agriculture in France(from its origins to present) which has been directed by Professor François Sigaut’s team since 2001. The research team consists of experts in various fields related to archaeology. The book was published in 2006, and it focuses on the first 1500 years of French agrarian history. Further research about other eras is now in progress. This book is valued as the latest publication that contains the origins and early development of French cultivation culture vis-à-vis archaeology.
