I would like to launch my writing by considering Tillion‟s attention to “historical people”; here, “history” is not an object of study or systematic knowledge but rather a living condition of human society that, as she says, goes beyond nation, language, or religion. History is indeed something that does not permit a crystal-like definition; rather it always leads to an irregular, unpredictable and porous time-space that we experience in everyday life. History does not necessarily inhere justice; nor is it an idea on which our beliefs can rely on unconditionally. History is an object of memory that often brings lament and reflection.
